Fundamental Approach to Corporate Governance
In order to enhance our corporate value and achieve sustainable development, we have adopted 3C management (Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance, and Compliance) as the fundamental stance in our Medium-Term Management Plan, and we are making efforts to ensure that the front lines and management are inextricably linked.
In particular, as an organization entrusted with a wide range of customer information, it is essential for us to maintain an appropriate understanding of how duties are being executed in the field, and promptly reflect this understanding in management decision-making in order to practice efficient management. We believe that this is a policy that should remain unchanged going forward.
Our belief is that corporate governance should be practiced based on the premise that a private company's raison d’etre is to pursue fair and sound profits appropriate to its status as a public-facing institution within society, and that it must not only comply with laws and regulations and its Articles of Incorporation, but also refrain from engaging in dishonest behavior or behavior that violates societal norms.
Based on this awareness, we strive to practice fair and transparent management through the operation of a functional governance organization, with general meetings of shareholders at the head of this organization, for the purpose of establishing a corporate governance system backed by a mindset of compliance or, in other words, a law-abiding spirit.
